Schedule-aware planning
The planner works from what your week actually looks like — not an idealized version of it. Every session it proposes fits in time you genuinely have.

Sleep protection
Set a bedtime and a wake time and they become hard boundaries. Nothing is scheduled past them, no matter how bad the week looks. If the work doesn't fit, you're told — you're not quietly given a 1 a.m. session.

Routine & commute awareness
Recurring commitments carry travel and preparation buffers. The twenty minutes back from the boathouse aren't study time.

Canvas Sweeper holds a student's school account and personal calendar. The rules below are constraints on the product, not aspirations.
AUTHENTICATION
Sign-in runs through Google. Canvas Sweeper never sees or stores a Google password.
CANVAS ACCESS
Canvas credentials are stored encrypted and shown only as a masked reference. Full tokens are never displayed back to you, anywhere in the product.
CALENDAR SCOPE
Write access is limited to the one study calendar you nominate. Personal, family, and school calendars are read for availability and never modified.
APPROVAL
No session reaches your calendar without an explicit approval. Automatic publishing is not an available setting.
ISOLATION
Assignments, routines, and plans are scoped to a single account. Nothing is pooled, shared with a school, or used to train anything.
CONNECTION STATE
Canvas and Google each show a live state — connected, stale, expired, or failing — with the time of the last successful sync.
FAILURE BEHAVIOR
When a service is unreachable, the product says so. It does not fall back to cached data dressed up as current, and it never invents an assignment.
